Old School

I went to the Barber Motorsports race today and took about 300-400 shots. They were pretty tough because they're obviously race cars. I decided to screw with them and make them look a little more digital. That plane flew over after the Star Spangled Banner. If you looks closely you can see the pilot! I decided to make it black/white and give it that kind of "WWII" look. Enjoy.

Here are the rest of the beach pictures. I have a ton more of my brother and our friend skim boarding, but I decided to weed a bit out so that this post did not take the entire page. I took the top picture in the car on the way home. Me and my dad were driving and thought it looked cool. It was pretty tough to get a good shot because the car was moving and a little bumpy, but I think it turned out ok.

I've been pretty busy lately. I went to Mexico and about three days after I got back I went to the beach. I got a few pretty cool shots. I think I took around 500 in one day. I'm in the process of picking out the ones I like and editing them. I still have around 200 left to pick through. I'll have the rest out soon. Enjoy!

The Parking Lot and The Cat

I saw both of my cats together today, so I decided to shoot them. I really like the shot I got of my reclusive cat, Lizzie. She looked directly at me and I had good focus (moth of them were a bit blurry). The other two pictures are from a week ago when I went to the movies with my friend Allie. We sat in the parking lot of the Rave for about an hour taking shots of random people. We put a really long shutter speed on and waved the camera all around, we got some pretty nice shots of all the lights. I like the second shot because I held the camera at her face for about 10 seconds and whirled it around for 10 more seconds and her face still kinda came out. Enjoy.

I just went in backyard again with my brother and shot some stuff. The spider web was really tricky because the slightest shake completely screwed up all the lines. Enjoy.

Here are the first pictures I've taken with my camera. My ma let me "borrow" (for an extended period of time) her telephoto lens. It definitely makes it easier to focus manually. There are still alotta things I don't know about my camera, so some of the pics I post might be absolute crap.
