I really like both of the yellow shots Bryan, especially the top one. It has a very interesting composition and lots of detail that keeps my eyes busy. When I printed it I noticed a bit of soft focus toward the top, probably due to your aperture size. I think it needs to be sharp so that it stays flat. The implied depth breaks down the abstract appeal. Still good, you should look down more often.
I love the texture in this picture. Also, the colors lead my eye all over the photo. The yellow looks good in contrast with the black pavement. I also like your composition and how the drain thing or whatever it is creates a line that cuts through the photo. Overall, everything in this picture is interesting and it intrigues me. Good work.

Haha will do. I was using a macro lens and didn't realize I had my aperture so low. I'll make sure I switch over to my 55mm more often!
